About us
Daramalan College is an independent coeducational Catholic school for Years 7-12 conducted by the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart.
Statement of Purpose
Daramalan College is owned and operated by the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (MSC), a Catholic religious congregation of priests and brothers, and its ethos arises from Spirituality of the Heart. This calls for an emphasis on love and respect among all members of the community, based on God’s unconditional love for all people.
The community that is Daramalan College strives to be strong in faith. We aim for excellence in Catholic education. In the caring spirit of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart, we are committed to acknowledging the love of God for every individual. Students and staff are to be nurtured to realise their unique potential as joyful, intelligent, compassionate and socially aware individuals.
While aiming for excellence in the search for truth, MSC schools recognise the importance of balanced human development and strive to help young students achieve their full potential in all areas of life, and to be ready to show initiative in parish, religious and civic life.
They are attentive to the needs and aspirations of individuals, especially of those who are disadvantaged or isolated; mentally, physically, financially, emotionally or geographically.
Founded on love and built on love, MSC schools offer a vision of hope for humankind, one in which all members can contribute as they grow strong in faith.
